Grill’s – The Eternal Presence

6.0 /10

Grill is a four piece Rock band based in Sydney, Australia, drawing influences from jazz fusion, world music and experimental rock.

According to the band, “‘The Eternal Presence’ is a modern interpretation of their relationship with nature, and through emotive vocals & rich composition GRILL symbolizes the serenity between Man and Earth. Flowing between complex rhythms, soft harmonies, interwoven melodies, and soaring vocals, the album illustrates their journey of understanding.”

They note their influences as among others, “Opeth, The Aristocrats, Chick Corea and Afro Cuban Music.

Which as you can imagine gives them a unique sound which is not the easiest thing to do in a crowded music market.

I think that this music is made with someone else’s tastes in music in mind. I would queue up a song on the station and see what you think. Unless looking at my profile you notice that we have similar interests then you can probably take a pass.
