Glass Hammer’s Chronomonaut the continuation of Chronometree story from 2001 out does its predecessor.
The songs are well crafted and diverse. This album is a welcome edition to the Glass Hammer cannon. Matthew Parmenter’s guest appearance on the Past is the Past is one of the ways this album stays fresh and diverse. Chris Herin (Discipline, Tiles) is also on the album, which came about thanks to the bands both performing and 2 Days Prog + 1 according to Matthew.
Not the first time two discipline members have been on an album the first was Phideaux’s Doomsday afternoon and that was our album of the year that year. This might not be the 2018 album of the year but I think if you like any other Glass Hammer albums you will certainly like this one.
