The Aaron Clift Experiment's If All Goes Wrong
I have given this album a few listens. This Texas crossover prog band is well liked in the progrock community. We did see them play at Rosfest, their only concert outside of Austin.
I really want to like them but I just can’t recommend this album. There is a lot of energy and the bridge’s of the songs are pretty good. I like how they have brought some brashy Texas elements into their music as well. I just struggle with the vocals being yelled more than sung.
I think their music has more of an impact live. This sounds like Kansas without a lead singer as good as Steve Walsh. If you think that is something you might like by all means queue a song up on our request system and hear for yourself. If you are ever in the Austin area check them out and don’t forget ProtoberFest 2018.
