Spock's Beard's - Noise Floor
Gone are the days that you would give the latest Spock’s beard album to a would be prog fan. With the exit of Neal Morse it was likely that this was not going to be the best gateway prog band out there.
That’s the bad news. The good news is that this might quite possibly be the best post Neal Morse album in the catalog.
If you have drifted away from Spock’s beard over the last decade I think you owe it to the band to give this one a listen. John Boegehold has many of the composer credits on this album and his contributions to the first half of the album can’t be over stated.
